The Arai Quantum has been purpose built to be the ultimate road riders helmet, optimised for the conditions found riding in the real world. If you're familiar with Arai helmets from years gone by, you'll remember the Quantum/e and Quantum/f, still fondly remembered for all day comfort in all conditions - and that's where the New Arai Quantum is aimed - at the experienced road rider who will appreciate the differences that make this the ideal helmet for any high mileage rider.

Outer Shell

Super Complex Laminate Construction outer shell which uses layers of Superfibre and Supernet material to form a strong, light shell.
Arai manufacturing processes allow the shell to be of a consistent thickness right to the bottom of the helmet.
Hyper Ridge reinforcement around the bottom of the outer shell provides strength and allows the opening to be larger without making the shell larger.

Interior

Single piece multi-density EPS lining - cells in the lining are bonded together, so work together, unlike EPS linings which have different density sections of EPS glued together.
Lining material is made from Dry-Cool material, which always feels dry and cools the skin.
Fully removable lining, available in different sizes for a tailored fit.
Removable cheek pads with removable, washable covers.
Arai Emergency Release cheek pads mean the helmet can be removed with less risk of injury.

Ventilation

Brow vents in the visor, plus two top inlet ducts with large buttons for gloved hands.
Large rear vent draws air out from the interior.
Large lower exhaust vents.

Visor

Advances in shell material technology allow for a bigger eye port, 5 mm wider on each side compared to previous Arai helmets.
Pinlock anti mist insert included.
Arai brow vents direct cool air into the forehead area without the need for holes in the shell around the forehead, considered a vulnerable part of the helmet.
External "Pod" visor holders allow for a better shell shape to disperse impact.
