Outer
D-Skin leather, specifically developed by Dainese to offer higher performance than traditional cowhide, reaching tensile strength standards 60% higher and tear resistance 80% higher. D-Skin is treated with Dainese's own wax and silicone treatment to give exceptional softness. D-Stone, a man made fibre with anti-tear performance similar to leather is used in insert panels, where the elasticity of D-Stone allows movement and improves comfort. The Dainese Mission suit also feature a leather biaxial stretch panel, running across the lower back and up the side of the suit to allow movement. The double front zipper aids movement and makes getting in and out of the suit far easier than traditional designs. A thermoformed aerodynamc hump chanels air into the suits 3D bubble liner.
Lining
Developed by Dainese's racers, the 3D bubble lining in the body and buttocks areas creates an air chamber between the rider and the outside of the suit creating an ideal micro-climate in hot and cold conditions.The sleeves and legs feature a fixed Sanityzed lining, a material with anti-bacterial treatment that stays fresh.
Armour
Dainese moulded composite armour protects elbow, knee and shins. Titanium inlays are fitted in the knees, elbows and shoulders. Dainese developed titanium inserts to avoid twisting injuries - titanium does not grip the road surface.Soft inserts are fitted in the coccyx, hip, upper arm and shoulder blade areas. Dainese interchangeable knee sliders are included.
