Description

The Forcefield Action Shorts combines the benefits of a technical baselayer with Forcefield Armour at the thigh, hip, buttock and coccyx. The material for the base layer is a polyamide fibre called BeCool, which is cleverly designed to remove heat and moisture.

BeCool is unusual in that the fibres have more surface area than normal round fibres - BeCool fibres resemble a "+" shape. Movement makes the fibres act like a fan, drawing away hot and wet air and replacing it with cool fresh air. BeCool is soft to the touch and Forcefield base layers use flat seams to further improve comfort and avoid chafing.

Two levels of protection are available, Sport, which has fewer layers and is ideal for use where light weight and breathability are important, and Pro, which offers more protection - we recommend Pro for motorcycling.

Forcefield Armour uses layers of different material, the most important is Nitrex, the outermost level which spreads the impact. The armour is flexible and moulds to the body, as well as being breathable. Unlike hard shell armour Forcefield armour can withstand multiple impacts without any loss of performance ("Repeat Performance Technology").
