Forcefield limb tubes are perfect for using with clothing which has no provision for armour. Aside from motorcycling, Forcefield Limb Tubes are great for sports like mountain biking, where the dual retaining straps of the arm protector in particular hold the armour in place without the need for a clothing layer.

The most important material in a Forcefield armour is Nitrex, a unique high tech shock absorbing layer (the triangular patterened outer layer). The materials used make Forcefield armour differs from hard shell armour, which is generally designed to take one impact. Forcefield refer to their armour as using "Repeat Performance Technology", as Forcefield armour can absorb multiple impacts with no loss of performance.
