The Arai Astro Light is specifically made for those with a smaller head. Only being available in sizes XXXS and XXS for the helmet to use a far smaller shell than bigger helmets, resulting in a lower mass.
This in turn means the helmet is more comfortable to wear die to the lower weight and reduced wind noise, as well as the safety implications in reducing the momentum in the event of an impact and reduced chance of neck injury.
Aesthetically, it also means smaller headed riders aren't wearing a huge crash helmet!
