The sports touring Schuberth S2 complements the race orientated Schuberth SR1 in the current Schuberth Helmet range. With a design based on the hugely popular flip front Schuberth C3, the Schuberth S2 brings the class leading levels of quietness and useful drop down visor and to motorcyclists who prefer a conventional full face helmet.
The new S2 Helmet has been wind tunnel designed, not just for quietness, but also to reduce neck strain, by adding spoilers and a sleek shape to the outer shell, keeping the helmet stable at speed and reducing lift, while the weight has been kept low (typically 1450g for a medium sized helmet). The outer visor is fitted with a Pinlock anti mist insert and features "turbulators", raised triangle shaped mouldings designed to break up the straight edge of the visor which can cause whistling. An easy to use inner sun visor provides UV protection.
A removable inner lining using COOLMAX® and Thermocool® and close fitting acoustic collar add to rider comfort and Schuberth have even built in a Bluetooth antennae for use with the optional SRCS2 communication system.
