Schuberth Helmets may be best known for their flip front helmets like the Schuberth C3, but that is all changing with the introduction of the Schuberth SR1.
As with the C3, the Schuberth SR1 is wind tunnel designed to be stable and quiet at high speed and uses S.T.R.O.N.G. shell material, a special fibre glass reinforced duroplastic mix. The shell is made in three sizes, so smaller heads do don't have to put up with a weight penalty and safety is not compromised in bigger sizes. The Schuberth SR1 is on the lighter side of our range of motorcycle helmets aimed at sports bike riders.
For comfort, the lining uses coolmax and is fully removable and washable. Ventilation is designed to be at its best when the rider is in a sports position and the ventilation can be varied beyond just on and off. The chin strap features the Schuberth Anti-Roll Off system - a secondary strap that attaches the chin strap to the back of the helmet, holding the chin strap in place so the helmet can not pivot off the head from behind and reducing the risk of the helmet coming into contact with the chest in an accident.
