Founded by Lander Nocchi in 1972 in a bid to make lighter and less expensive crash helmets than were available at the time, Nolan has gone form strength to strength but still manufacture their helmets in Italy and selling their helmets in 70 countries. Nolan carry out extensive in house and third party testing beyond the standards required by law and meet ISO9001:2008 Quality Management standards. Their confidence in what they do extends to their guarantee: Nolan Helmets are quaranteed for 5 years from date of purchase against defects arising from materials or the manufacturing process.
