The ACF-50 Corrosion Block Grease [16oz] Tub can be described as a clean, clear, ultra-thin fluid which leaves a non-greasy atmospheric barrier to protect the base metal on interior surfaces. Corrosion Block leaves no gummy residue because it contains no wax, resin, tar, asphalt, silicone or Teflon.
Corrosion Block has the ability to remove moisture, combined with its excellent penetrating and strong dielectric properties, have brought a number of electronics 'back from the dead' with just one application. The Corrosion Block removes the moisture from the corrosion byproduct, then isolates the corrosion byproduct from the electrical circuit. Corrosion Block can be used in many different electrical and electronic applications without fear of damage. And it won't harm any plastics or painted surfaces and is actually good for rubber, keeping it from cracking and drying out.

ACF-50, Anti-Corrosion Formula, is a state of the art, anti-corrosion/lubricant compound that has been specifically designed for the Aero Space Industry. A proprietary product of Lear Chemical Research, the Canadian company that has been successfully developing and compounding anti-corrosion lubricants and greases since 1979.
Originally designed to protect aircraft from existing and new corrosion, the product is now available to motorcyclists. Aviation products have to meet rigorously high standards and ACF-50 not only meets these but has been awarded Aviation approvals - MIL-SPEC 81309 types II and III which means it is 'approved for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical systems and electronic components'. The US Navy carried out tests using ACF-50 on the jets on their Aircraft Carriers. They found that ACF-50 so significantly reduced the corrosion they had previously experienced they now use ACF-50 all the time!
