AGV have done what many thoughts was impossible and has developed the world’s first Sports Modular motorcycle helmet delivering the super high performance of a full-face with the comfort and ease of use of a flip-front motorcycle helmet. The shell of the Sports Modular is made from 100% carbon fibre meaning super strength whilst keeping the helmet lightweight. Even the chin guard is made from carbon fibre to ensure that the helmet comes in at a weight of 1.3kg and the super aerodynamic design means that it has a zero-dynamic weight when at speeds of 80mph (130km/h). Perfect for any rider with serious racing in mind.
The Sports Modular uses AGV’s Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) using a large vent on the front and a vent on the chin guard. But the special difference of the IVS is the rear extractor which is hollowed into the shell of the helmet and directs air to the wearer’s head and keeping them cool without interfering with the integrated sun visor.
So, the Sports Modular has everything that makes it great for a track day, but with any flip-front helmet you expect comfort and ease of use and AGV have not ignored that. AGV have minimized the surface area of their unique metal visor mechanism to give better peripheral vision. The visor has also been designed to have a 190-degree horizontal field of view the same as the human eye. And the helmet has even been fitted with an internal sun visor so you won’t have to worry about riding on sunny days.
The lining of the helmet is removable and washable but the most inventive decision made by AGV for the liner is that the crown pad comes with a winter and a summer side. The summer side has a Ritmo material that is cooling, moisture wicking and anti-microbial. Whereas the winter side has a Shalimar fabric lining that warms up quickly and is super comfortable.
AGV may have done the impossible with the Sports Modular. The performance is the highest possible to please any rider serious about track days but the comfort and ease of everyday use expected from a flip-front helmet is all there. AGV has delivered one of the most versatile helmets possible.

When you order a helmet online we can only accept a return when the helmet is unworn and HAS NOT been used out on the motorcycle. When you receive your helmet, please try it on for around an hour in the comfort of your home, do not go out on the motorcycle with it. If the helmet is too loose or is too tight, get in touch and we will help to provide a return.
Circumference Measurement: Wrap a measuring tape around your head starting from the centre of your forehead. Measure about an inch above your eyebrows and hold tape comfortably snug. Take the length and complete again for good measure. Use the largest of the two readings.

A.G.V. is an acronym that stands for Amisano Gino Valenza. Gino Amisano is the founder of the company, Valenza Po the city in which AGV came to life in 1947. The logo is nothing other than "Ago"'s helmet as seen from behind.
Or rather, the way so many riders would see it while being beaten by the Italian champion. The colours are those of the Italian flag, as to confirm AGV's great pride of its connection to its homeland. After a few modifications throughout its lifetime, the brand continues to win while being worn by great champions, like Valentino Rossi.
The 3D laser scanning, instead of designing helmets around the outer shell, the AGV standards start with the riders head, which is measured digitally using laser scanning technology. Three-dimensional scanning is a highly-precise technology (to a tenth of a millimetre) that allows one to convert anthropomorphic shapes into digital data and then carry out accurate research on the human physiognomy. This research then becomes the starting point for designing the parts of the helmet which are in contact with the face.
Being part of the larger AGV “Extreme Standards Helmets” family, the Pista GP is now listed among the 331 safest helmets in the world.
The 5 Sharp Stars are defined by the English Department of Transport, and are the highest mark achievable in terms of safety. Sharp assigns this important rating by means of an independent evaluation system, where helmets are subjected to safety criteria tests without involving the manufacturers. In fact, the English Department has confirmed that 50 lives per year could be saved by using helmets that received this type of recognition by Sharp.
The AGV Pista GP helmet obtained this important award thanks to the revolutionary “Extreme Standards Helmets” process, an innovative design system that defines new standards in terms of safety, ergonomics and comfort. Indeed, the Pista GP design process starts from the components that are directly in contact with the head and works outwards to the final shell.

Excellent Helmet
Great helmet, extremely lightweight which helps on those longer rides! Looks great in the gloss, also bought the dark tint visor to complete the look! Would highly recommend!
Shiny shiny!
Shiny with shiny bits. I'm not keen on the metal tab to lock the visor as it's visible when the visor is lifted, also the drop down inner visor lever is at the bottom of the helmet not the side as on my k3, scorpion and other lids. Feels like a good quality helmet, reversible liner for winter/summer and 2 differently sized chin curtains
Great Value Quality Helmet
Bought this helmet as an upgrade and I am very happy with the quality and comfort of the helmet 1 month in. Its super lightweight and looks great, the air vents do a great job of getting that cooling airflow into the helmet and the visor gives an excellent field of vision. I am sure this helmet will serve me well for years to come.
Quality product for the money!
This is my first flip-front & first AGV helmet - I’ve had Shoei, Arai and Bell helmets before. The shell quality and finish is right up there with these brands. It is light and stiff due to the carbon construction, with little inherent damping, meaning knocks can sound disturbingly loud. This is obviously not a problem in use, just takes a bit of familiarity. The chin guard mechanism feels secure, and needs a firm push to close. Visor unlocking on the move takes some practice - it’s a bit small and fiddly - although you can physically remove the lock to simplify things. The plastic vents work OK - they are the only items which feel a little cost reduced. The chin strap is further back than normal in a full-face, so worth checking this aspect if you are large necked. Vision is good and panoramic on a naked heritage bike with clip-ons. In use it’s a great fit-and-forget helmet, quiet too, so if you can accept the provisos highlighted, comes highly recommended at the sub £300 price!
Great price and delivery
Was looking for a new quality flip helmet and got an email from infinity with a cracking deal on the Agv in my size. Read a few reviews and ordered Friday morning. Got delivered Monday morning with no fuss. Would buy again from infinity as they always deliver on price and delivery. Plus there’s the infinity club to get points as well .
Great helmet
Love it so very much! Great price/features! VERY, Meaning VERY light!!!
It took a few longer rides to bed in, but once done it's VERY comfortable!!!
Drop dark visor is great, and the main/clear visor itself also feels great, much cleaner than the previous one.
The only downside it's a little bit fiddly to get headset installed, but this was my choice than anything else.
P.S. no issues opening visor or flip front in winter gloves, however check yourself!
Could have been good!
Purchased this helmet after a lot of research. Weight, safety etc. However, the biggest point was the ability to open the front.
Received this helmet and as always, worn around the house for an hour . Not massively compatible but like most helmets it needs to bed in.
I commute to work every day, Within 30 minutes I hated this helmet!
Try and open the helmet with gloves on is like being a contestant on the Crystal Maze. This also goes for cracking the visor open, in my opinion the locking for the visor is just dangerous as you cannot do it quickly enough.
Once you have your gear on and riding the helmet does sit differently, due to this your chin rubs on the inside which becomes incredibly annoying.
There is so much more wrong with this helmet
I was so disappointed, next day I put myself old helmet on while I can make up what I’ve lost to get another helmet ordered.
I now have a very expensive door stop
