Alpinestars Andes V2 Drystar Ladies Trousers
The Alpinestars Andes V2 Drystar Ladies Trousers are a waterproof, abrasion-resistant, all-purpose jean ideal for touring or commuting. Designed for an optimised female fit, the Alpinestars Stella Andes V2 adopts the popular style and effective construction of the Andes, while improving upon the Andes’ ventilation and protective qualities, making this essential for modern riding.
The Alpinestars Andes’ design was already flawless in its performance, with a plethora of external pockets, reflective panels and a waterproof membrane to boot. What sets the Andes V2 apart, however, is its newly developed Direct Ventilation System: zippered chest intakes air and exhaust backports allow for internal climate control and optimal rider comfort. The innovative system also integrates a concealed shock cord ensuring the vent remains exposed in whatever position you’re in a while riding.
Constructed of reinforced multi-fabrics and panels, the Alpinestars Andes V2 incorporates the latest impact-resistant technology essential for modern riding. Removable CE certified protectors at the knees and poly-foam padding cover your lower body and reinforced polymer-printed at critical points of the hips and knees absorb shock upon impact
The 2017 Andes V2 is a versatile, durable motorcycle trouser with an abundance of impressive qualities. Integrated with Alpinestars’ own developed waterproof liner Drystar for all-around weatherproofing, the trousers also incorporate a removable thermal liner that runs along the legs, ensuring effective heat retention. Accordion stretch panel at the knees and pre-contoured legs allow flexibility and improved riding performance, and an internal waist zipper allows for connection with the Andes Drystar V2 ladies jacket.

The Heritage of Alpinestars
Alpinestars take their name from the Italian mountain flower Stella Alpina, known to grow in the mountains around Sante Mazzarolo’s home town of Asolo, in northern Italy. Stella Alpina, means, well, “Alpine Star” in English. They have carried their origins with them proudly as they have grown and developed into a unique company dedicated to really high quality motorcycle clothing.
They began by making hiking boots and ski boots, branched out into making motocross boots and road racing boots, and from there became one of the most well-regarded manufacturers of motorcycle clothing in Europe.
Never content to rest on their laurels, Alpinestars have taken engineering inspiration from every spot they tough, all of which has helped their motorcycle clothing range cater for every conceivable need. From Dale Earnhardt Jr’s striking Alpinestars gloves in NASCAR to Jenson Button’s Racing boots and gloves, these drivers help inform and shape Alpinestars’ motorcycle range with fresh and innovative insights.
How to Look After Textile Alpinestars Clothing
As with any other form of advanced motorcycle clothing, Alpinestars clothing needs to be looked after carefully to ensure its waterproof and protective qualities are retained.
As one of the biggest names in protective clothing, Alpinestars produce quality products that are worth looking after. Stocking a wide range of their waterproof jackets, we have put together this care guide for when you need to clean your Alpinestars waterproof garment.
Not forcing any aspect of the cleaning or drying process is the best way to go when you clean your Alpinestars clothing.
Remove armour and close zippers.
Remove any lining and wash separately at allow temperature on a normal cycle.
Brush off any dirt from the clothing, soaking in warm water if required.
Wash with a mild detergent on a low-temperature setting.
Don’t try to dry the garment too quickly – you could shrink the material and damage it.

Warm & dry!
Been caught out in my old textiles, got completely soaked! So I decided to try these out. Got caught out in heavy rain twice whilst wearing these and stayed warm and dry!
When I tried them on the look very long, but when you have your boots on the are the perfect length. Do not ride up!
I would go up in size, I am a size 10 and ordered a size large.
They are actually a very flattering fit as well.
Very pleased!
