Caberg carefully focused on refined materials and key features all made in Italy such as the five rivets on the rim, the steel air intakes on the neck device, leather details, and the goggles holder with serigraphy. Moreover, during winter time or long ride routes, Freeride can be used either with a long clear visor easy to mount included in the helmet box, or with Caberg vintage goggles, available as spare part, for custom bike riders. Freeride, thanks to the inner space dedicated to the speakers seating under the liner, can be equipped with the communicator Bluetooth Just Speak S.

There’s a Caberg Helmet for any on-road rider, including sports, touring, scooter and classic. Caberg helmets are well known for being stylish, functional and extremely safe. They are great choice for motorcyclists looking for a more affordable helmet brand and their vast range includes helmets for ladies and children too.
Italian Born and Bred
Caberg Helmets were founded in 1974 in Italy. Unlike many other European brands, Caberg helmets are still being made in Italy today in the very same town in which the company was founded, Bergamo. In their modern factory they design, build and test their helmets for quality.
The Anatomy of a Caberg Helmet
A Caberg helmet is made of three basic components: the external hard shell, which is designed to distribute the energy of a hit in an accident by compressing, lessening the force before it reaches the head. Under the hard shell is the soft inner shell, which is there to absorb shock on impact. And the third component is the retention system (or the chinstrap), which holds the helmet in place and so the two shells can to do their job.
Besides these three main components, the other key part on any helmet is the main visor through which you see. In addition to the main visor, the majority of Cabergs have an internal sun visor, which can easily be flipped down providing an immediate and effective sun visor to protect against glare from the sun.
CaberG Helmets and Safety
In their newly developed, state-of-the-art factory in Bergamo, Carberg are able to carry out all routine tests required by International Standards internally.
The four basic tests required by International Standards are:
‘The shock absorption test’, which determines the ability of a helmet to absorb and dissipate the energy of a direct hit.
‘The rigidity text’, which measures the deformation of a helmet submitted to lateral or longitudinal compression.
‘The retention system test’, which measure the ability of the chinstrap to cope with dynamic stress at a given energy.
‘The stability test’, which measure the roll-of angle of a helmet submitted to a dynamic rotational face.
The regulation ECE 22 requires every helmet that passes these tests bears a label sewn on the retention system as proof. This label bears the homologation mark, the homologation number and the production serial number.
The Caberg team also carry out additional tests to verify new materials and technology used in their helmets under a variety of environmental conditions to replicate real life conditions as much as possible. The result of this rigorous testing at the Caberg facility are some of the safest helmets on the road according to all recognised independent standards.
Caberg Helmets and Style
Italians are known for their sense of style and naturally Caberg Helmets are among the best looking on the market. Caberg lids tend to be more classic and refined, the colours are simple and yet bold, and the design focuses on comfort, safety and functionality. This old school style makes these helmets truly timeless. Their broad range of designs includes racing, touring, and commuter-friendly helmets.
Caberg Helmets and Technology
Caberg Helmets have made a name for themselves across Europe not only for their smart prices and looks, but also for their smart thinking. Caberg was the first manufacturer in Europe to introduce flip-up lids to their range. This innovative spirit has long continued; as the company also pioneered the P/J dual-homologation feature on their flip-ups and continually updates their collections to include advanced materials and technical breakthroughs.
The Caberg Helmet Range includes…
Caberg Flip Front Helmets
As a European leader, Caberg are probably best known for their flip front modular helmets. Models such as Junior Rhyno, Justissimo and Sintesi have long been popular with riders who travel longer distances, as they offers the looks of a full face helmet with the flexibility of an open face helmet and they are great for changing weather conditions. The Caberg Duke is one of our most popular flip front helmets, it comes with the Pinlock antifog system fitted as standard and it also has a J Type approval so it can be used in the open position on the road.
Caberg Full Face Helmets
Lightweight, stylish and packed full of safety features, the full-face helmets in the Caberg collection are suitable for all kinds of rider. Popular models include the Caberg Ego, Caberg Vox, V2R-R and V2X all of which have a five star SHARP rating for safety. As well as their main range of full face helmets, Caberg also offer the Hyper X, which has an easy removal chin guard system, meaning you can use it as either a full face helmet or a jet helmet.
Caberg Open Face Helmets
There is a helmet to suit every style, taste and budget in the Caberg range of open face helmets including a mini and midi jet helmet, visor open face helmet and fighter style helmet with goggles. The top end helmets are both Bluetooth ready and feature an internal sun visor.
Caberg Helmets with Bluetooth
Most Caberg Helmets are Bluetooth ready. If you are thinking of purchasing the Caberg Hyper X/Sintesi/Jet Sintesi or Modus helmet we recommend the Just Speak wireless Bluetooth kit from Caberg, which allows two helmets to communicate wirelessly in intercom mode (when both equipped with the Caberg Just Speak Bluetooth system), as well as allowing you to use your mobile and GPS hands-free, and without removing your helmet. The Caberg Just Speak and other Bluetooth kits are all sold separately to the Carberg helmets.
