The Knox Calder jeans are a single-layer denim trouser with Class A approved Micro-Lock Compact armour and an easy tapered leg.
The Calder is a casual fit, everyday denim jean designed for the urban rider and developed to be the lightest single-layer jean in Knox's collection. Made from a blend of highly protective Cordura, woven with denim cotton and stretchable elastane, these jeans combine the comfort and style of regular denim with the cut, tear and abrasion resistance of a much bulkier motorcycle trouser.
CE level 1 Knox Micro-Lock Compact armour can be found at the knees and hips, which can be accessed externally for when you want to hop on and off the bike.
Micro-Lock Compact is designed to be thinner and lighter than previous iterations, is soft to touch initially but locks in place when met with an impact, hardening instantly to reduce the force passed on to your body in an accident.
The jeans feature a classic, easy-to-wear tapered leg, two choices of wash and YKK zips. The Calder features the usual jean pockets including two deep front pockets and two back pockets, and a stylish faux leather patch with embossed branding can be found on the waist.
