The harness is angled away from underarms for total freedom of movement and once set, the pack is exceptionally convenient to use with none of the harness re-adjustment necessary on conventional harness systems. The size adjustable harness allows the pack position to be moved up or down to produce the best possible fit. The R20 can be worn with or without a waist strap.

Kriega is a British company from Chester. Kriega was founded in 1999 when Dom Longman and Michael Cottam, who had a background in outdoor kit, drew on their love of motorcycling to build a company that would design and make tough, well-made motorcycle luggage of the highest quality. All Kriega products are designed in-house, with an emphasis on hard-wearing quality and ease of use.
How Kriega See Themselves
Kriega received a Ride kit award in 2011 as recognition for their long-standing commitments to quality luggage and accessories. After receiving the award, design director Dom Longman said, "We invest a lot of time in design and testing because we're not a fashion brand. We build things to last and don't release anything until its right." Some other manufacturers think of luggage as a simple accessory, buy their range from China, rebrand the cheaply-made luggage as their own brand, and sell the end product as though it were designed and made entirely within the company.
Talking about the Kriega backpack range, Dom attributes its popularity to the way in which the weight seems to disappear when wearing it. "We worked hard to design a strap system that took all the strain out of the shoulders and neck so that it was comfortable to wear over long distances."

Rolls Royce of Motorcycle Backpacks.
Having had numerous bags over the years, not a single one has compared to this in terms of comfort and practicality. The support system that it entails means the weight you carry in it is virtually irrelevant, as it drops it down to your hips, meaning not only less strain on the shoulders, but a lower center of gravity resulting in a bag that doesn't feel like it's trying to pull you off the bike mid-corner. Although not waterproof, it does take a ludicrous amount of weather abuse before it finally gives in. For a benchmark the 'abuse' was 50 mph winds and a months worth of rainfall in 6 hours on a 90 mile journey. The only bad thing I have to say about this bag, is that I should have brought it sooner. Granted it's more expensive that any of the other bags I had, but they didn't have a 10 year warranty, nor were they designed specifically for motorcycle use.
Better and cheaper?
I got this one for my Dainese pelle jacket. In the first time I wanted to take back protector from D but saw this Forcefield. Infinity staff tald me that its better and cheaper. Hmm how comes?? Big plus is that this have the best impact absorbing system. Designed to take "FORCE" and protect you how you would expected. If you dont have any back protection then think to buy one of this. I live on the south coast and commute daily in all the British weather has to throw at me, the wind and rain paired with what the sea has to throw at me can lead to an interesting ride. I was using a normal daysack to carry my kit to and from work but found when the rain came it found its way through the bag and to my "dry" clothes more than once. I thought with a Europe trip in the planning it was time to get myself something that would stand up to the elements. I looked at many different products and reviews and each time I found myself coming back to Kriega. With myself convinced that I was going to purchase a Kriega rucksack all that was left to do was decide which. I went to Infinity Southampton and the Staff were a great help pointing out the pros and cons and in the end it came down to what size I would need and after much deliberation, I concluded that the R20 was the rucksack for me. The rucksack is comfortable to wear due to the design of the back plate which curves around th
A very comfortable rucksack if a bit pricey. A pity it is not manufactured using a waterproof material. I was thinking of buying the harness pocket but that is not waterproof either and that really does need to be if a mobile phone and wallet are carried in it.
Great product, very happy with the comfort for day to day use. Great that it comes with a 10 year guarantee. Highly recomend
Excellent fast service, delivery was brilliant and kept you informed ever step of the way. Kriega backpack is great .i am totally impressed and will definitely be using infinity motorcycles for future purchases.
Really pleased with most of it.
This is a great product, its comfortable, functional and looks cool. I do have some issues with it, the straps for adjusting it are a bit annoying (flapping around all over the place) and I feel a bladder should be included in the price, also a couple more mini pockets on the outside would be useful. Overall its very good quality and I would recommend it for trail riders and hiking/running.
Bought this for a trip to France on an RC8R. Very light, comfortable and it's surprising how much you can get in. Most importantly ..... it doesn't hinder you moving around the bike on the twisty stuff !!
Bigger than you think!
This is such a great rucksack - at first I was dubious about paying & simply for a rucksack as there are plenty of others out there from a tenner up. The straps make a big difference to how a bag feels on your back, half the time I honestly forget its on me!! It also fits an astonishing amount of stuff considering its 'flat' appearance, it really expands. Padding all around the straps and back section mean its very comfy and doesn't dig into neck/shoulders/underarm due to the wide angled straps. Reflective bits on it are also handy as my gear is all black. Only things I can say that is something to consider or ask about is that this bag, amazingly, I was told when buying, IS NOT waterproof. I couldn't believe it for the price but then again I haven't been in heavy rain since to try it. It is, however, a very sturdy bag and backed by a 10yr guarantee which convinced me in the end. You can always put a bin bag over it!
