BRAND DETAILS

Merlin was started by a team with a combined experience of over 50 years designing and making motorcycle clothing. Merlin is 100% employee owned and is headed up by Brian Sansom, highly respected founder of BKS Leathers.
Having a broad range of experience, from working with MotoGP teams to making a simple budget kit for riders just starting out, the Merlin team have entered the motorcycle clothing market with a well-specced range of textiles and boots, using Merlin's Aquatec waterproofing.

You might be surprised to find how few motorcycle boots are made from leather these days, but most of the range of Merlin motorcycle boots are made from high-grade full-grain leather with aquatec waterproofing.
Merlin have also launched with a range of waterproof motorcycle jackets and trousers, many featuring removable Polatherm linings, designed in the UK for UK riding conditions and with practical details like sleeve adjusters and mobile phone pockets.

Merlin motorcycle clothing has a two year guarantee and use YKK zips throughout.

Worked well
First time wore this over leathers I rode through a thunderstorm with torrential rain and hail with lots of traffic throwing rain up and over bike. Got home after a good hour and was still dry.

Great compact wet rain jacket
Planning a trip to Barcelona, rain was forecast over the Prynees, but I didn't want to take my existing bulky rain jacket. This provided the answer - lightweight and packs down into the supplied stuff bag.I ended up using it twice. It did the job. I'll be taking it in my next trip to Switzerland in June.
