Oxford Oximiser 888 can be left permanently connected to provide guaranteed long term battery care.
Suitable for all 12V battery types up to 30Ah, including Gel, MF and Acid batteries. Heavily discharged batteries as low as 4.1V can be charged if the battery is not damaged.

- 6 Stage battery management system:
- Polarity check: checks the battery leads have been connected correctly
- Battery Analysis: assesses battery & determines best charging method
- Bulk Fast Charge: charges at a fast rate to bring the battery to approximately 85% capacity
- Absorption Charge: lowers the charge rate & gives a topping charge to ensure the battery is charged to 100%
- Voltage Check: hourly voltage checks assess battery health
- Maintain Mode: Applies an appropriate charge if voltage drops outside acceptable limits to ensure the battery voltage and condition remains perfect

Perfect for my needs
Brought this today as although my bikes dash lit up, the starter wouldn’t function.
20 mins on the charger, and it’s good to go.
I was concerned it didn’t come with a 3-pin plug, but it does, and also includes a “fly lead” to leave connected to the battery for quick future access.
Very happy with the product, and the price.
Time to ride
Very happy after two months of use
I bought a 2nd had bike which had the battery connector for this unit already installed. After suffering a flat battery when I needed to ride after a long period off the road, I bought the Oxford unit to fit the the existing cable.
After plugging in, the unit started "bulk fast charging" the battery and , once it was charged, moved into maintenance mode which it has happily maintained ever since.
Still not back to regular riding due to work and lockdown, I now just unplug the bike battery connector from the charger and the bike starts first time when I need it.
After two months use I am confidence this unit fulfils my requirement of the battery being in good condition when I need it. With the cable permanently attached to the battery ,and accessible without having to take the seat off, this is a practical solution at a bargain price.
DONT BUY!!!
