A MaxTex outer construction offers a hardwearing outer to this RST textile jacket, helping keep the jacket lightweight without compromising on safety while the large K300 mesh panels allow masses of cool air directly into the jacket, helping keep you cool when riding in warmer weather. Triple stitched with a bonded nylon thread, the risks of seam failure are greatly reduced for your peace of mind while the MaxTex and K300 mesh outer is highly abrasion resistant. Hidden beneath the outer of the jacket are dedicated armour pockets with CE Level 1 elbow armour and CE Level 1 shoulder armour fitted as standard. A pocket found at the inside rear of the jacket gives the rider the option to include a CE Approved back protector should they choose to. These can be purchased separately as either CE Level 1 or CE Level 2 options.

A fixed mesh comfort lining within this textile motorcycle jacket makes for a welcoming environment to spend the day in, whether it’s your early morning commute to work or a trip to your favourite bike night. The mesh comfort lining helps to stop the outer material of the jacket sticking to your skin when riding in warmer weather and makes getting the jacket on and taking it off much easier. A removable SinAqua waterproof membrane offers we weather waterproofing, minimising water entry into the jacket and keeping your base layers dry when you arrive at your destination.

Max zippers are used in the RST Pilot Air jacket due to their hard wearing nature and longevity. These zippers can be found throughout the jacket including the 360° connection zipper which allows you to zip the RST Pilot Air Jacket into any compatible RST trouser, either leather or textile. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac. At the waist and arm of this textile motorcycle jacket you’ll find adjustment points; the waist of the jacket features a Velcro adjustment belt while the arms feature a popper closure system. This lets the rider accommodate an additional layer underneath the jacket when riding in cooler weather as well as taking up the excess space when riding without additional layers and retaining the great fit of the jacket.
