The leather outer construction makes for a durable, hard-wearing glove that is highly abrasion resistant with double layer leather at the palm and covering the little finger, which are areas that typically experience the most abrasion in the event of a slide across tarmac. Additionally, the RST Pilot gloves are double stitched in key areas, maximising the strength of the glove and prolonging the life of your new leather gloves.
An Amara textile overlay at the palm of these gloves maximises the grip of the bars, giving you increased control your motorcycle. Additionally, you’ll find an Amara overlay at the outer palm, with soft density palm inserts, helping cushion the impacts felt in these areas and adding to the abrasion resistance.
Protection on these sports gloves comes in the form of TPU hard knuckle protection with as well as TPR protection at the length of the fingers. These protections points help to reduce the impact energy felt at these areas, protecting your hands should the worst occur and furthering the sports aesthetic of these leather motorcycle gloves. Within these TPU and TPR protection points are mesh covered ventilation areas, effectively channelling cool air into the gloves when riding.
Pre-curved and out-stitched fingers further the comfort of these leather gloves, minimising the feeling of fatigue when riding over longer distances and reducing the irritation that can be felt within the gloves. Further to this, accordion stretch panelling found at the fingers and thumbs offer great flexibility and unrestricted movement when riding such as when reaching for the brake or clutch lever.
