The Scorpion Exo 1400 Carbon Espirit is a sports-touring full-face with a lightweight, carbon-fibre shell, an efficient air ventilation system, and convenient internal sun visor.
The 1400 is Scorpion's first carbon full-face, boasting an extremely light, TCT structure with an aggressive shape and a gloss finish. This smart shell is able to gradually crumple on impact, which allows it to absorb most of the energy generated by the shock while retaining a strong structure that resists impact. Fitting perfectly into the specially-depressed area of the face shield, the Pinlock creates continuous air pressure through the compression force, which in turn stops condensation – and thus fogging – from occurring even when the temperature difference between the outside and the inside of the helmet increases.
An internal retractable sun visor eases eye strain instantly in varying light conditions without changing face shields, while the Airfit feature permits a rider to personalize helmet fit through air adjustable cheek pads with additional noise reduction.
The helmet also features a very effective, hypoallergenic, removable, machine washable, and very soft and pleasant to the touch, the KwikWick3 lining of the new ScorpionExo 2015 range is a real custom-made slipper for your head.

When you order a helmet online we can only accept a return when the helmet is unworn and HAS NOT been used out on the motorcycle. When you receive your helmet, please try it on for around an hour in the comfort of your home, do not go out on the motorcycle with it. If the helmet is too loose or is too tight, get in touch and we will help to provide a return.
Circumference Measurement: Wrap a measuring tape around your head starting from the center of your forehead. Measure about and inch above your eyebrows and hold tape comfortably snug. Take the length and complete again for good measure. Use the largest of the two readings.

Their wild, innovative graphic designs are created in hotbeds of extreme-sports creativity all over the world, from Europe to Southern California, to stay two steps ahead in this fast-moving field.
The Scorpion Sports factory, ‘The Big Nest’ is dedicated to crafting some of the world's best protective headgear. Almost every operation needed to create world-class helmets is located on this one amazing facility, including both fiberglass/Kevlar™ and polycarbonate shell moulding, EPS liner manufacturing, liner sewing, water-decal production, clean-room paint booths, drying rooms, assembly, packaging and shipping. This way the factory can monitor the quality and is not dependent on outside suppliers.
The American based company is relatively new to the UK market and has made a strong impact with the quality of its products. Features such as the Airfit system, which allows you to add pressure on the cheek pads, and their sprung visor mechanisms which help the visor seal against the shell keeping noise and drafts to a minimum all point to a quality product.
They’ve also done well in the Sharp test which proves their crash quality.
There are a number of full and open face models in the range as well as a great flip front. Obviously all Scorpion helmets met ECE22-05 and all have been approved by the TUV testing centre in Germany.

Great all round
Fast delivery, and the helmet is stunning, fitment is great as nice air fit feature, very lightweight came with tinted and spare visor.
Helmet looks even better in person really happy with the product and service
For 250.oo you get more then a decent lid.
If you want similar quality from Shoei or Arai you would need to spend more than 400. It is quieter than my previous Shark and easy on my neck due to the little weight. It has everything you might possibly need: a dark visor, emergency padding release and vents.
Haven’t really had any issues with it. I would prefer the ratchet instead of the two D loops but hey - it wasn’t a secret when I was buying it.
I am not trying to do biking on the shoestring but with that lid available why pay more for the same quality.
