The Scorpion EXO-930 is a brand-new for 2021 flip-up motorcycle helmet from one of the most popular helmet brands on the market, and it fills the niche for a modular helmet that gives you a range of options on how you want to ride.
The EXO-930 Smart is one of Scorpion’s most unique motorcycle helmets to be released, it's ready to 'plug and play' Scorpion's EXO-COM intercom unit to give you the connection you need to your GPS, smartphone and even to your partner riders, without the struggle of fitting another unit separately. The EXO-COM has high-definition Boost 2.0 speakers to give you a clear and high-quality sound. You will get 800 metres of range to your fellow riders and the multi-tasking allows you to clearly hear GPS instructions when you need them and back to your music when you do not.
With the face-shield down the EXO-930 is a great helmet with close to the qualities of a standard full-face but with the ease of use and convenience you get with a flip-up. No need to keep taking your helmet off when out and about with a flip-up. But as the helmet is dual-homologated it means that you can ride with the face-shield fully lifted like an open-face helmet.
Not just this, the EXO-930 has a high-quality advanced polycarbonate shell that is protective against impacts and lightweight to reduce neck strain during prolonged use. The EXO-930 has a big, wide-open visor aperture that gives you a great field of vision to see your surroundings, perfect for navigating busy city streets. The EXO-930 also includes a MaxVision Pinlock insert, one of most reliable anti-fog solutions on the market.

When you order a helmet online, we can only accept a return when the helmet is unworn and HAS NOT been used out on the motorcycle. When you receive your helmet, please try it on for around an hour in the comfort of your home, do not go out on the motorcycle with it. If the helmet is too loose or too tight, get in touch, and we will help to provide a return.

Circumference Measurement: Wrap a measuring tape around your head, starting from the centre of your forehead. Measure about and inch above your eyebrows and hold the tape comfortably snug. Take the length and complete it again for good measure. Use the largest of the two readings.

The Scorpion Sports factory, ‘The Big Nest’ is dedicated to crafting some of the world's best protective headgear. Almost every operation needed to create world-class helmets is located on this one amazing facility, including both fiberglass/Kevlar™ and polycarbonate shell moulding, EPS liner manufacturing, liner sewing, water-decal production, clean-room paint booths, drying rooms, assembly, packaging and shipping. This way the factory can monitor the quality and is not dependent on outside suppliers.
The American based company is relatively new to the UK market and has made a strong impact with the quality of its products. Features such as the Airfit system, which allows you to add pressure on the cheek pads, and their sprung visor mechanisms which help the visor seal against the shell keeping noise and drafts to a minimum all point to a quality product.
They’ve also done well in the Sharp test which proves their crash quality.
There are a number of full and open face models in the range as well as a great flip front. Obviously all Scorpion helmets met ECE22-05 and all have been approved by the TUV testing centre in Germany.
