PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Segura Tazer CE Waterproof Mens Jacket

Segura Tazer CE Waterproof Mens Jacket

Segura Tazer CE Waterproof Mens Jacket

The Segura Tazer jacket is the kind of jacket you might have found being worn by rider's and pit crew in the bike paddock at events like the Bol d'or back in the eighties and nineties; the difference being that the Tazer is a fully singing-and-dancing, motorcycle jacket. It's made from an abrasion-resistant material that Segura calls Twiltex. It's nice and soft so that, despite its strength, the jacket wears just like a casual jacket. The Tazer is positively plastered with pockets. Including the large, document pocket on the back of the jacket, you get nine external pockets in total. Two of the zips on the chest of the jacket, though, are for ventilation rather for access to further storage compartments. The jacket is equipped with both a fixed waterproof liner and a removable thermal one. The armour that comes as standard in the elbows and shoulders is CE approved. There's a pocket for a back protector. The Tazer, in our view, is a jacket that is first and foremost about style; it really does look the part. But it also does pretty much everything you'd ever ask of a proper bike jacket.

BRAND DETAILS

Segura is a French motorcycle clothing company that opened its doors in 1967. The two brothers who set up the company later had a fall-out, and David Segura left to set up a competitor company: Furygan. Today, Segura is an upmarket maker of retro and vintage styled clothing. The company has a great eye for motorcycle trends, and they make a terrific range of clothes for the riders of custom, classic and retro bikes, although their gear also appeals to riders of just about any sit-up or naked bike, and even adventure bike riders. It’s probably true to say that Segura’s greatest strength is its leather products. They make a wide array of cool looking jackets, some ultra stylish gloves, and really rugged short boots. Segua does make textile products, including some great value wax cotton jackets, but leather is still what they do best, in our opinion. Legends we’re sure you’ll love their great quality, great looking gear as much as we do.
